Louis Vuitton City of Stars smells like a sparkling, radiant citrus fragrance that captures the feeling of a warm evening in Los Angeles, opening with an energetic burst of blood orange, lemon, and bergamot that feels juicy, bright, and slightly sweet, while a soft floral heart of tiare flower adds a creamy, sun-kissed tropical nuance, and it dries down into a smooth musk and sandalwood base that gives it a clean, airy warmth, making the overall scent feel glamorous, uplifting, and effortlessly elegant with a glowing, sunset-like freshness.
Top notes: Blood Orange, Lemon, Red Mandarin, Bergamot, Lime
Heart notes: Tiare Flower
Base notes: Sandalwood, Musk, Powdery Notes

Hello,
I purchased a decant of Louis Vuitton City of Stars from your store.
After comparing it with another sample of City of Stars that I own, I noticed a significant difference in the scent. The decant I received has a strong coconut and mango-like smell, while the other sample smells much closer to the citrus and floral profile I expected.
Because the difference is quite noticeable, I am wondering if there may have been a mistake during the decanting or labeling process.
Could you please advise on this? I would be happy to provide photos of the bottle, label, and my order information if needed. If possible I want to return or trade for new city of star. Thanks
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
Lawrence
Hi Lawrence, thank you for reaching out. We're sorry to hear about the scent discrepancy. LV City of Stars was recently reformulated and the smell is slightly different than how it previously was. Most of our perfumes are usually newer batches, especially LV as those are always stocked up just a few weeks prior. This would explain the minor difference in the smell you're used to. :)
